Itinerary
- 06:45 – 07:00: Hotel pickup from centrally located hotels in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Depart for Cu Chi District by air-conditioned vehicle.
- Morning – Cu Chi Tunnels: After approximately a 1.5-hour drive, arrive at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Watch an introductory video explaining how the tunnels were constructed and how Vietnamese soldiers survived underground during wartime.
- Explore the remaining tunnel areas, including living quarters with kitchens and bedrooms, weapons factories, storage rooms, field hospitals, and command centers. Learn about the hidden trap doors and defensive traps used for protection during the war. After the visit, enjoy special tea and cassava, traditional guerrilla food. Short break time follows.
- Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, featuring Vietnamese cuisine.
- Afternoon – Mekong Delta (My Tho): Continue to My Tho City and board a boat for a scenic cruise on the Tien River. Admire the calm river scenery and pass the four famous Mekong islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise.
- Cruise through narrow canals by traditional sampan, surrounded by lush countryside. Enjoy a short cycling tour through local villages, offering an up-close look at rural life in the Mekong Delta.
- Visit a coconut candy workshop, sample seasonal tropical fruits, enjoy honey tea, and listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by local residents.
- Late Afternoon: Begin the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City.
